The freeze and thaw cycle of winter weather can negatively impact your roofing system. Snow and ice dams may trap water, pushing it into roof cracks and holes. Water saturation of the insulation under your roof membrane can cause major leaks and possibly structural deck damage, which can go unnoticed until it's too late.

The best way to prevent unexpected damage is to have your roof inspected annually.

IRC Building Sciences Group has experts available coast to coast who can respond quickly and evaluate your property for winter weather-related issues. An assessment by our engineers and technical consultants can help you extend the life of your roof, minimize service calls and expensive repairs, and optimize the performance of your building.

Our teams of roofing engineers and technical consultants hold extensive industry experience spanning all aspects of the built environment. Proactively protect your roof today by contacting us to schedule a spring roof assessment.
