Description:

IRC Building Sciences Group Inc. has immediate openings within our CAD Department at Head Office in Mississauga for experienced Technologists with no less than five years of relevant Architectural Drafting and some specification writing experience would be an asset.  
The Successful applicant will assist in the creation and production of construction documents including site plans, detailed roof plans, elevations, cross-sections, section details, technical specifications, and tender documents.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum three year Technology Diploma/Degree
• Minimum five years of full-time drafting employment with AutoCAD, 2D environment
• Some experience with Spec Writing (any Division) and knowledge of Contract Documents
• Experience with construction detailing and general construction knowledge
• Exceptional comprehension of the English language with the ability to read and write using correct grammar, punctuation and spelling
• Exceptional computer skills in PC, Windows environment, MS Office, Corel WordPerfect
